After the disastrous floods of 2007 that saw the demise of Joust at Berkeley Castle, it seemed that a major event in the Medieval re-enactment had been lost - not so!

Plantagenet Events Ltd., with many years’ professional and re-enactment expertise, have stepped in and more than filled that gap....

Now into its 3rd year the Berkeley Skirmish has become a glorious fixture in the Summer Calendar of Gloucestershire.

Berkeley Skirmish 2010 - bigger and brighter, bolder than before – even more exciting, loud and colourful – a fantabulous spectacular at a venue that has been around for nearly 1000 years – Berkeley Castle, home of the Berkeley Family.

Feuding nobles, petrified peasants and religious zealots will all be in residence in the Castle, and you can be there, experiencing history, with the chance of special 'experience' tickets to extend your Medieval experience...
